There are several parking areas in the park\, but the one closest to Ceperley Park is just up the small hill from Ceperley Park\, where the blacktop area/basketball court area is.  \nParking is $4.25/hour. We encourage everyone to carpool\, bike\, or walk if possible. \nFeel free to invite your friends to join us. Everyone is welcome and the more the merrier!

SUMMARY:Summer picnic and dancing with live band\, The Pirates
DESCRIPTION:Summer picnic and dancing with house band The Pirates on Thursday\, August 22nd from 11:00ish am – 4:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to join us at Confederation Park in Burnaby – 250 Willingdon Avenue.  One block north of Hastings.  We meet at the Cenotaph. Bring your picnic lunch\, sunglasses\, sunscreen\, hat\, water\, and chair or blanket. The band will start playing at 12:30 and afterwards there will be recorded music. It’s weather permitting and if need to cancel\, we will announce and if there is alternate date.
