Tuesday evening dancing sessions at Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby. Doors open at 6:45 pm and feel free to arrive early before our warm-up dancing starts at 7:00 pm. Learn dances from the Balkans and many other countries. New dances taught regularly. Beginners and all levels are welcome, no partner needed. Come on a drop-in basis or make a weekly commitment. $7.00 per session. First time is free. Wear comfortable clothing and non-marking shoes. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. Wednesday Zoom dancing sessions from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). Come join us for this FREE weekly Balkan and International folk dance Wednesday Zoom group. We are open to all who are interested in joining us! Chat time is a 12:45 pm. Our monthly parties are the last Wednesday of every month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). All party dances are led by one of our team members and there is no teaching. Please feel free to stay logged in after the dance program for our friendly meet and greet social time.

The twelfth and final Lyrids Folk Dance Festival will take place April 17-19, 2026 at Pitt Meadows Heritage Hall an hour drive east of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our guest artists will be Tineke and Maurits van Geel presenting Armenian, Roma, and other International dances. Zakuska from Seattle, WA will be the Saturday evening party band. Final farewell workshop on April 21, 7-9 pm, Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby, with the featured teachers at Lyrids Festival, Tineke and Maurits van Geel. They will teach International and Armenian dances. First time is Free and drop in is $7.00.
