Lyrids/Kyklos online Folk Dance Festival

The Lyrids Folk Dance Festival and the Kyklos International Folk Dancers invite you to our online folk dance festival.
Saturday and Sunday morning Tineke and Maurits van Geel will teach Armenian and Roma dances, as well as some international top hits. In the afternoons, cameo workshops feature Bulgarian dances, Turkish dances, Israeli dances, seated dances, Balkan singing, an instrumental workshop, and a drumming workshop.
At mealtimes, watch culture talks and memorable videos from past Salt Spring Island and Lyrids Folk Dance Festivals.
There will be three parties: Saturday evening we will dance with the band Osem i Devet + Friends. Friday and Sunday evenings we’ll party to recorded music.
