This Tuesday is BIFD’s AGM. We will have a short warm-up program so that we can get started with our AGM and plan to finish in plenty of time to continue with our dance programming. We hope to see many of you there for the AGM as we do need to have enough people for a quorum. All are welcome to attend and discuss. For people who pay on a drop-in basis, membership dues of $5 permits voting at meetings. We dance at Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby and doors open at 6:45 pm.
Our Wednesday Zoom group is celebrating its 5 year anniversary on November 5th, 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). It will be great event with our Zoom team (Lori, Bev, Debbie and Jacques) and special guests (Andony Beniares from San Jose, California, Cricket Rayburn from Portland, Oregon and Dale Adamson, our friendly neighbor from Surrey, British Columbia), who were instrumental, along with others, at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, of getting folk dancing onto Zoom.
