Last World Dance in the Park Tuesday evening and Wednesdays on Zoom
Join us for our last evening of World Dance in the Park this Tuesday, August 18th. We are having a potluck/picnic from 5-6:30 pm at the picnic tables nearby the Cenotaph. Please bring finger food to share and a chair or blanket to sit on. We dance at Confederation Park (250 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby) by the Cenotaph (weather permitting) from 7-9 pm. Lots of easy dances, most dances are taught! It’s free and great for families, seniors, and all ages in between. Parking is available for free in the park and at the Burnaby North Lawn Bowling Club at 4550 Penzance Drive close to the Cenotaph.
Please bring a sun hat, sun glasses, water for hydration and comfy shoes for dancing. See link below for poster.

Join us for Wednesday Zoom dancing sessions from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). Come join us for this FREE weekly Balkan and International folk dance Wednesday Zoom group. We are open to all who are interested in joining us! Chat time is a 12:45 pm. Our monthly parties are the last Wednesday of every month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). All party dances are led by one of our team members and there is no teaching. I am May, a senior and old but I did like moving my body doing folk dance and flow to the people, could I welcome to join you? Yes, I have just a very little experience and with poor English and can’t talking so much.

Thank you for contacting us. We have finished dancing at the park for the summer. We will start dancing on Tuesday, September 22 from 7-9 pm at Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby at 3630 Lozells Avenue. Everyone is welcome and hope you can join us.
